【摘要】:ThisStandardspecifiesthegeometricandmethodofuse(installationandflowingconditions)fororificemetersof6mmto40mm(1/4in.to1Alt+0189in.)linesizewhentheyareinsertedinaconduitrunningfull.Italsogivesnecessaryinformationforcalculatingflowrateanditsassociateduncertainty.Itappliesonlytodifferentialpressuredevicesinwhichtheflowremainssubsonicthroughoutthemeasuringsection,flowissteadyorvariesonlyslowlywithtime,andthefluidisconsideredsingle-phase.Inaddition,theuncertaintiesaregivenintheappropriatesectionsofthisStandardforeachofthesedeviceswithinthepipesizeandReynoldsnumberlimits,whicharespecified.ThisStandardcoversdevicesforwhichsufficientcalibrationshavebeenmadetoenablethespecificationofcoherentsystemsofapplicationandtoenablecalculationstobemadewithincertainpredictablelimitsofuncetainty.Thedevicesintroducedintothepipearecalledprimarydevices.Thetermprimarydevicealsoincludesthepressuretapsandtheassociatedupstreamanddownstreampiping.Allotherinstrumentsordevicesrequiredforthemeasurementortransmissionofthedifferentialpressuresareknownassecondaryelements,andincombinationarereferredtoasthesecondarydevices.ThisStandardcoversprimarydevices;thesecondarydeviceswillbementionedonlyoccasionally,asandwhennecessaryfortheproperoperationoftheprimarydevice.ThedifferentprimarydevicescoveredinthisStandardare(a)orificeplatesusedwithcornerpressuretaps,(b)orificeplatesusedwithflangepressuretaps,(c)speciallydesignedorificemeterswithintegralfittings.
